Description

Got a kid aged 7 or above who loves cycling and running? Triathlon Squad All Abilities on Hudayriyat Island is open to everyone — from first-timers to athletes with race experience. Your child builds endurance and multi-sport fitness in one of Abu Dhabi’s best outdoor venues.

Sessions run on Hudayriyat Island, Sunday mornings 8:15–9:45 AM. A 90-minute session — the longest of all Athletics Academy’s squad sessions — with the outdoor space to match.

The All Abilities squad is exactly what it says. Your child trains alongside athletes at different stages of their triathlon journey. Coaches adapt sessions to challenge every level. Beginners build base fitness and bike confidence. More experienced athletes develop race technique, pacing, and competitive endurance. The session covers cycling and running, building the cardiovascular base that underpins all endurance sport.

Athletics Academy was founded in 2015 by Samir Yousuf. The coaching team are all qualified PE and Primary teachers from the UK and Ireland, carefully selected for their expertise and pastoral care. The Hudayriyat Island location offers a genuinely exciting outdoor environment — the kind of venue that makes training feel like an adventure.

Note: bikes with stabilisers are not permitted. Triathlon skinsuits are recommended (available AED 200).
