Activity overview
Gymnastics at GEMS World Academy on Reem Island runs every Tuesday. Elite Sports Academy offers two back-to-back sessions covering ages 4-12. Younger kids (4-7 years) train at 17:00. The 8-12 age group follows at 18:00. Each session is one hour of structured gymnastics development. Elite’s coaches assess every participant and place them in the right group for their ability. Your child won’t feel out of their depth — or bored because it’s too easy. Sessions build foundational gymnastics skills: balance, coordination, flexibility, and body control. Older kids develop more complex movements and start to build real gymnastics vocabulary. Elite Sports Academy runs their gymnastics programme with the same community focus as their football. School-based venues mean familiar, safe spaces for kids. Free trials are available so you can try before you commit. One important note: during Ramadan, sessions run one hour earlier than standard times.
