Your kid’s first real introduction to the pool starts here at Erth Abu Dhabi. 4th Lane Swim Academy designed their Familiarization program for the littlest swimmers. Three levels take your child from nervous to confident. Starfish gets them comfortable just being in the water. Frog builds on that with gentle movement. Goldfish prepares them for actual swimming skills.
Every session focuses on building trust with the water. Coaches don’t rush children through levels. Your child moves up when they’re genuinely ready. That matters because confidence built properly sticks for life. Two 45-minute sessions run each week so skills develop fast. Indoor pools mean year-round swimming regardless of Abu Dhabi’s heat.
Roger De Manresa and Oliver Coulson co-founded 4th Lane in August 2016. Both arrived in Abu Dhabi back in 2012. Roger leads as Technical Director and Head Coach. Under his guidance, swimmers have won medals at 18 national championships worldwide. Oliver heads the competition side of things. Their coaching team goes through a dedicated mentorship program. That’s not standard. It means every coach develops alongside your child.
4th Lane started with one pool and a big ambition. Now they’re Abu Dhabi’s most reputable swim academy. Over 80 medals at age group nationals across 18 countries tells the story. Your child benefits from that same coaching standard, even at the beginner level. Every session matters. Every child matters.
