Got a kid who can’t stop tapping on everything? They’re a drummer waiting to happen. Drums are the engine of every band — and learning to play them properly is one of the most rewarding things a child can do. Timing, coordination, physical expression, and pure fun all come together on the kit.
Drum lessons at The Music Hub run for all ages from preschool through secondary level. Beginners learn the fundamentals — basic beats, hand-foot coordination, and reading drum notation. Intermediate players develop versatility across different styles and time signatures. Advanced students prepare for Trinity and ABRSM graded exams and stage performance. The results speak for themselves — students here regularly achieve outstanding exam results.
your child could be taught by Mr. Prakash BK, one of the UAE’s most experienced drum and guitar teachers with over 15 years in the business. His student Limar Urstenova won Young Musician of the Year 2022 in the Intermediate Category — that’s the kind of teaching that produces real results. Mr. Noel T. Cayud also teaches drums, bringing a dynamic, performance-focused energy to every lesson. Both teachers tailor their methods to each student’s personality and pace.
The Music Hub has been shaping musicians in Abu Dhabi since 2014. Lessons run privately or in groups, and home visits are available on request. The free trial class is the perfect first step — no pressure, just drumming.
